‘How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity’ – Psalm 133 v1

CATA is an organisation which provides an opportunity for churches to work together to share the love and good news of Jesus with Trowbridge, in both word and action.

CATA organises a number of events each year including:

• Good Friday March of Witness

• Church in the Park to encourage churches to worship and celebrate in public spaces and be a witness to the people of Trowbridge. 

• Annual CATA Celebration

• Occasional Arts events including music and art

• The Living Nativity

Furthermore, CATA supports a number of initiatives which reach out to show the love of Jesus to the people of Trowbridge including:

• Street Pastors

• Town Chaplains

• Nexus (homeless project)

• Soup Run

• Storehouse Foodbank 

• Trowbridge Debt Advice Centre   

• MENUNITED Trowbridge                                   

We have found that there is blessing and strength in working together in many of these areas to reach out in love to our town.

Every two months we hold a forum where church leaders and representatives meet to discuss plans, information about future events and ideas for blessing our community including the recent initiative on ‘Trowbridge – Churches Creation Care Forum’. All are welcome! 

Romans 15: 5/7 “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
